3 Ways to Properly Enjoy National IPA Day
Thursday, August 1st is National IPA Day. While we love crafting all kinds of beers at Triple C Brewing, we definitely have a soft spot for IPAs. Our GABF award-winning 3C IPA has been a crowd favorite for many years. We’ve even made a Pineapple version to celebrate the summer. If hazy IPAs are more your thing, then grab a Hazy like Sunday Morning IPA, - $1 from each pint goes to support the Jimmy Core Foundation. Are you the type that likes a heavy hitting IPA and you’re taking a Lyft to the brewery? The baby maker IPA is just the brew for you. Try the Ragnar Kviek IPA releasing on Thursday in the taproom
John Rankin, our new head brewer, has officially brewed his first creation at Triple C Brewery. The Ragnar Kviek IPA is special because it uses the Norwegian yeast, kviek. This will be the first time that Triple C Brewing has used kviek yeast in a brew. Kviek typically has been used in Norway to create farmhouse ales.
The yeast is special because it has a high heat tolerance - you can ferment the beer and get the same flavor anywhere between 65 and 104 degrees. Kviek yeast works just as hard as the viking we named the beer after, it can ferment beer extremely fast.
Come by on Thursday, and feed your inner viking with the Ragnar Kviek IPA. Expect this brew to have a bit of haze and a light bouquet of fruity hops. Stone fruit, pineapple, mango and peach come through with light bitterness and a soft finish for this 5.8% brew.

Nothing says National IPA day like a special on IPA flights. Who wants to commit to a whole 16 ounces when there are so many different IPAs to try. Start with the juicy 5.2% Hazy like Sunday Morning IPA and booze your way up to the malty 8.5% Baby Maker Double IPA.
Flesh out your flight with our traditional west coast style 3C IPA which features Chinook, Citra, and Centennial hops. We currently offer the standard 3C IPA or get tropical with our popular Pineapple 3C IPA (while supplies last). The small batch, Ragnar Kviek IPA is also a great choice to round out your IPA flight.
